But you have to remember, Slipknot has 2 or 3 drummers (i forget how many) and Joey Jordinson is using either 2 bass drums or a duble pedal. I can't remember which it is cause it's been a long time since i've paid attention to Slipknot. While John Bonham is using only 1 bass drum with a single pedal... much more talent involved. But for right now, my favorite drummer has to be Derek Bloom (From First to Last). Half the time what he is playing doesn't even fit the song the rest of the band is playing, but yet it sounds so good. Try listening to Note To Self, or I Liked You Better Before You Were Naked On The Internet.

maybe we should make a favorite/best drummer thread?

john bonham used a single kick most of the time but i have seen pictures of him with a double bass set. the set was amazing both bas drums were like 27 inches i think its a crazy kit

Joey Jordinson is the drummer on the drumset. The other 2 are custom percussionists. But Joey can still kick the shit out of Jon Bonham. Did Jon Bonham ever play the drums on a table that stuck out into the air and turned everywhere? Fuck No, he's ancient.

did joey ever play with his bare hands on teh drums for up to 20 minutes straigt or did he ever play as fast as a double kick with just a single?
