john bonham was good, but the drummer for van halen was one of the fastest in the world too. i think they actually used something that measured the number of hits per second or something to measure.

yeah dude, nice. the drumsticks are like extensions of his arms, man. that part near the middle of the solo was like a drumroll using every single drum, haha.

that solo is so fucking good. best drum solo i have ever seen. and that is also a fucking awesome movie, very nice to see stoned.

one part, bonham drums so fast it looks like the video is sped up. but its not, because it syncs up with the sound.

Jon Baham is really fast yea, and he's pretty good in that video. But Joey Jordinson seems like he's x2 times faster. He has so many tom toms and cymbals around him so that he can go his maximum speed. And you can't tell where he starts with the toms and bass drums sometimes cause he's so fast. Listen to the song "Heretic Anthem" for an example or "Wait and Bleed".

on google video, search for a drum solo buy this 12 year old black kid, its pretty cool too.

my desktop is that "how many bands" picture from a thread on this site from a while ago.
that or a band picture from one of my many favourte bands.
or a fender jazz bass.
