NJ: long time student, first time indoor grower

I plan to start with a 6 pot drip to waste system.
I'm familiar with drip irrigation in my outdoor veggie garden. I use house pressure to the drip emitters.

I'll be using a 6 lamp T5HO fixture.
How do I size the pump for this setup? Do you drip constantly?
