i transplanted and now tips of leaves are turning yellow. one even has leaves curled up. whats the problem? BTW this is 1st time growing

HAve you transplanted along with teh soil, has their roots got cut, My bottom leaves got yellow when i transplanted, dont have to worry, just flush it with some mineral water and some organic nutrition,

There are a few reasons why the leafs get yellow. It might be because of the excess of fertilizers and can be the lack of nutrients too.Ph also can be a problem here.

Some few reasons why the leafs get yellow such as more and more water, nitrogen deficiencies in the soil, a lack of sunlight on the bottom leaves, or a possible disease. I think you don't worry my friend It is not big issue. You should spry some pesticide and powder mixer on this plant which help to you.
