Am i getting this right?

Ok so when starting from seed grow under T5 lights,right threw flowering.Then when going threw veg use HPS light.Right?Thank you again for your help.

No, grow with floros for the first few weeks to get them strong (without burning them). once they are strong enough to handle the hps lighting, put it on them for 18on 6 off. then when they are about 1/2 the desired height put them on 12/12 to flower them.

I just use hps the whole time. Though I'm just saying it works I'm not discrediting jackal, he's got alot better growing mind then me.

I'm using T5's and CFL's from start to finish and am ending up with pretty much the same results as my friend who is using T5's and HPS. Although it does take me 3 or 4 more weeks to get the same results.
Also his foot print is 12 square feet where as mine is 8 to 10 square feet.
