Wassup everyone. I'm relatively new to hydroponics but I'm still gonna give it a try. I already have a grow room set up. I was thinking about a DWC system since I heard its the easiest for a beginner. I saw a DWC but it had a water pump for top feeding. What size pump should i use for this set up and will I need a timer for the water pump. Or does it run continuously. Any help is greatly appreciated.

A small fish tank pump will work! I think they are like 85 gph! Use an aip pump also!

Thanx. I just ran into another issue. My digital timer won't turn on my light. I have a power strip with the timer plugged into it. I know its not the light bcuz it turns on when plugged in w/o timer. Is there a certain type of timer I need for grow light.
Someone told me about thr tungsten rating when using timer for lights. PLEASE HELP.

my timer is the same way. Only way I can fix it is to get a smaller extension cord to plug into the power strip, then plug it into the extension. for some reason mine wont work at all when I plug it into a power strip. Just cheap I guess. Ill spend more when I get a new one eventually. Also the timer should have a rating on the back of what it can handle. Probably measured in amps.
