When to harvest

Postby legalizeit » Wed Sep 16, 2009 3:40 pm

Maybe somone can help me...I am a bit confused about when is the right time to harvest...I am in the Northeast, it's mid September, and this is what I have. Plants are about 5-6 feet tall, been flowering for about 5 weeks. 3 images are three different plants. I believe that the 1st and 2nd image links are plants that are ready. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks...I seem to have been able to figure out everything but this aspect of it. What exactly should I be looking for? Leaves to drop? Color to change more drastically? Increase or lack of increase in size? Thanks again!

the buds will swell, and the crystals will turn from clear, to milky, to amber. best is when they are mostly milky and some are amber. u will need a good magnifying glass to do this.. 30x is a good size.. i personally look at the density of the bud.

Thanks again...I appreciate your advice. It is a website and message board like this, with folks like yourself, that have enabled me to do this. Because of this I am having great success in growing, sexing, and getting ready to harvest my first ever crop. Keep the advice coming all, I really appreciate it.
