How do you vaporize?

Theres no real vaporizer thread here, so i thought id start one. Ive been vaporizing now for a couple of years, and especially in the past 2 years, there have been some pretty cool new vaporizers to come out on the market as well as some perennial favorites...

what do you guys vaporize with and how do you like it?

nothing beats a Volcano. everyone that tries mine says its the best. and the reviews online say the same thing.

ive only tried 2, the volcano and, ummmmm, maybe the hot box (i forget, its just a cube with a hose coming out of it, herb goes in the end of the hose and hot air is pulled over). anyway, the volcano was 3 times the price, but id say 10 times as good. i just hate that stupid bag, i feel like im on some sort of crazy life support or something.

i havent used a vaporizer yet but ive been convinced to buy one, i never even really knew wut they did until i did sum research on em the other day. i understand how they work and everything i just dont see wut makes the volcano so much better than all the other ones? but heres the one i want to buy for starters and then maybe when i git rich i can buy a volcano lol

^ the large model is the one im lookin at right now but i might change my mind. i just want to hear other peoples input before i make a decision.

as far as im concerned most of the big-name vapos are just way too expensive. volcanos are nice, but i also dont like that weird little bag. i prefer the hot-box.
i did manage to make a vapo out of a lightbulb once. the thing worked just fine, but it started to taste pretty bad, so it probably wasnt 100% safe.

well shit man, dont take my word for it. jackel seems to be of the contradicting opinion.
like i said, vapos are generally too expensive for me... id rather just stick to good ol joints n' bongs.

vaporizers seem to be alot healthier for u tho. u burn alot of tar not to mention the thousands of other chemicals and most of that is eliminated in a vaporizer. im just worried about spending alot of money on one and not liking it. but thats why ill buy the cheap 100 dollar model i posted above and see how i like that. but thanks for the advice, everyone seems to say sumthin different about them tho. as long as i can taste the herb then thats all that matters to me, i just cant live without the taste of my fresh buds

you may be dissapointed there. the smoke from a vapo has a really distinct taste, in that literally all you're tasting is the THC. its definitely not the same. it will get you high as fuck guaranteed, but the taste of it, to me, always seems sort of... synthetic.

vaporizers are the best way to go, but for anyone who wants one, just remember:

the reason something becomes a brand name is because enough people have entrusted their well being to that company. The reason why they are a bigger name is because they produce better quality

that 59.99 dome vaporizer you linked right there isnt going to do you any good. Its gonna crap out on you after 5-10 uses and you'll just be out over an 8th!

if you wanna drop 60, for a llittle more you can start buying well known brand names like vAPIR. What seperates a 100-150 Vapir and a 550 Volcano is basically the engineering that went into a volcano. The volcano is the undisputed easiest vaporizer to use. But pretty much any vaporizer youre gonna buy today will all help you in accomplishing the same goal

just for reference, i have a volcano and a Vapir oxygen Mini, those pieces do it for me

not necessarily. i wont get into an argument about economics, but all i'll say is that your statement is falsifiable. its what big-name brands want you to think, though whether or not its actually tru probably depends on the company.

Check out ebay, craigslist and email coupons. Ive seen volcanos go for 30--350 on ebay and CL....and i just received a coupon from vapir in the mail!

there are deals to be had. If you're the type of guy who cares about your health, then i dont see why you wouldnt vape
