I've been playing guitar for over 40 years. I can also play some bass and banjo. I currently own a 6 string, 12 string, and a vintage banjo. I'm also a published songwriter and have worked in recording studio as well as taught songwriting classes. Never made enough to live on.

i studied trombone performance in college for 2 years, and i have had professional stints here and there. other than that, i play guitar, bass, a little piano, and a little drums. music is what makes the world go round, and drugs make it better, hehe.

the pictures that you posted... and then hearing u play trombone... never would have put those two together, lol.

ive been playin guitar off and on for the last... 7 years? i still suck by my standards, but others would disagree. still waiting for the day where i come across an ass load of money so i can go buy me that 12-string elec/acust cutaway alvarez with a solid spruce body. things are lovely for the price!!! plus a half stack tube'd marshall. when im feeling really creative i go pound it out on the piano. tryin to learn moonlight sonata by ear. havent gotten to far with it

I've been playing guitar for about 6 years. My dad gave me his old 1984 Ibanez RZ550 (I think, thats what I was told by my local guitar store.) It was one of the first models with the Floyd Rose double locking bridge.

The wizard neck is damn fast, but I might put a contemporary wizard II on it.

ive been playing bass since about '99 or 2000 so a good 7-8 years now...

I'm pretty decent...no jaco or les or even flea but I have my style and it gets me by.

I'm one of those guys that doesn't normally like playing 3-4 notes that constantly repeat so i always throw in filler notes and lines and makes the music just seem to have much more volume to it...

think geddy lee or geezer butler

dang, i didnt expect so many responses.
a lot of you guys sound like really talented musicians. ive never been in any real bands or anything, just a few experimental groups. ive never really thought of myself as very good, but ive gotten a lot of compliments, and ive been confronted by promoters before.

I'm a musician too, a guitarist at heart but will try anything I turn my hand to.

I can't think of many greater feelings than sitting, playing a guitar, smoking at generally tripping balls to the sounds you make.
