*NOTE*
Mmjpsycho2 does not condone the use of solely this rolling method. One must eventually learn to roll freehand. This method is for rolling joints before hand, not around friends. They'd probably laught at you. This is just a way to overcome the pain until you can roll well.
*NOTE2*
My camera isnt too amazing, so ignore the slight blurriness in some of the pictures. They were also taken while the taker (me) was quite baked. So throw me a bone.
LET's GET STARTED
Step 1. Prepare your supplies
You'll need the following:
Weed
Rolling papers
one full sized straw
a knife
scissors (only if you dont have a grinder)
a shot glass (only if you dont have a grinder)
Some type of long, thin piece of metal
a cutting board or rolling mat to use as a workspace
Refer to the picture for details.
Step 2. Prepare the weed
Pour out all the weed on your workspace surface. If it's still mostly in buds, just break it up into manageable pieces first. If not, then you're all set. Once the weed is manageable, remove the stems, seeds, and other unsmokeables. See the picture below.
Now, put a few pinches of weed into the shotglass. Put the shotglass w/ weed securely in one hand, and with the other hand, grab your scissors. Stick the scissors into the shotglass and just start frantically chopping. This is a great way to chop up weed if you dont have a grinder. When you're satisfied with the consistency of your weed, stop chopping. You should have something similar to this:
Step 3. Prepare the paper
This step is relatively important, as it determines the structural integrity and tightness of the joint. Grab your straw and one rolling paper. Lightly lick the straw so that the rolling paper sticks to it just slightly, and place the NON-STICK edge of the rolling paper along the straw. Slowly wrap it all the way around the straw, lick the sticky edge of the paper, and close the paper around the straw. You should now have something that looks like this:
Now, gently slide the empty, rolled paper towards one end of the straw, pulling roughly 3-5mm off the edge. Crimp this edge into a point, and roll it gently with your fingers. There's some flexibility as to how you want to do this, basically it will be either the mouthpiece or the end you light, whichever you choose. it just needs to be closed tightly so weed doesnt fall out (or become a scooby snack, if you end up using this end as the mouth-end.) You should now have something to this extent:
Step 4. Filling the joint
Now, you're ready to start filling the joint. To do so, tip the shotglass slightly sideways (as close to horizontal as possible without dropping bud) and insert the end of the straw without the paper on it horizontally into the shotglass. Twist the end of the straw gently into the chopped up bud, drawing as much as you can into the straw. Occasionally, tip the straw vertical again to drop the weed into the other end. You should be doing this (only with two hands):
Every few times you add weed, stick the thin piece of metal down into the straw and pack the weed in. Be careful not to tear the paper, push too hard and push weed out the end of the joint, or pack the green too tight. If you pack it too tight, it wont light or draw right.
Step 5. Final touches
Once the joint is full, slide the straw out GENTLY. The joint should be pretty stiff, and straight/round like a cigarette. Crimp the other end, the same way you did the first, and the joint will look pretty complete. Sometimes however, the joint may be a bit screwed up. Now it's time to put the finishing touches on it. Sometimes the edges will come a little loose, so lick them lightly to stick them back down. Also, occasionally a stem will get in there and poke a hole in the side of the paper. In this case, grab a small piece of paper, tear/cut it down to size, lick it, and stick it on the hole. Regardless of whether or not these mistakes have occurred, you should still lightly wet the entire joint except the ends. Finally, run a lighter along the length of the now slightly damp joint to dry the joint back up. What this licking and drying process does is create a better seal, and make the joint a bit more stiff. it also slightly heats the weed, helping to set it in a round shape. You should have something that looks like this:
Step 6. Smoke that shit!
Take a minute to admire your work, then pick up the lighter and spark that shit. Remember to save the roach! You can unwrap it, save the weed, and after a couple joints, use this same method to roll a joint entirely made up of roaches. That'll get you fucked up!
ENJOY!
