i figured i'd share a new bong creation with you guys :D I took a standard water bong and i bought an actual gas mask and it fits perfectly on the top so i fixed on there and its fuckin awesome!!! It looks like some dude when ur pretty lit lol It tokes like the best of the best!-

but dude it'll b a while before i get pics, i also bought a bloomer today but the bad part is, miracle grow.... at least it's 10-52-10 there isn't anything else out here i went to lowes and home depot and they didn't have shit but miracle grow. I probably wont be blooming em for prolly another month and a half or so

I also had a question, since i got one fluorescent lamp and probably 3 crops to flower(including clone) under it would it be cool to tie em down so the light gets to all of the plant or am i gonna have to buy another fixture? People on a budget GO FLUORESCENT! IT WORKS! I paid about 20 bucks for 2 bulbs and a lamp

I always tie mine down, they just seem to grow better. As for the light, it seems to me you can never get enough.

i wish more people were like you cheif. alot of people always say, 'go with the best lights, anything else is shit blablabla'. theres nothing wrong with going floro, ive seen many good grows that way. im sure better lights are getting better grows, but if your stuck on a budget floros will do the job. i would get more than just two bulbs though IMO.

Well sticky, i agree with you somewhat. CFs can make a decent grow and it seems at first, to be less money. But if you look @ it in the long run CFS will cost you more money.

400 watt HPS will output around 45k lumens. For every 500 watts of continuous use, you use about $20 a month in electricity, so it is evident that a lamp taking half the power to output the same lumens (or twice the lumens at the same power level) will pay for itself in a year or so, and from then on, continuous savings will be reaped.

So in the long run its better and cheaper to use HPS/MH. But if all you have is CFS, go for it, you can get a decent grow :!:

yup and i had to take jackel's advice on the full spectrum, my nicest one is a foot tall and already skunkin up my closet :). I do plan on buyin another fixture with a couple more sunshine bulbs because the walls in my closet happen to be white :) so ill lean the lights against the whole plant. When should i go to 18/6? there on 24/0 now and i want em to flower at about 3 feet. But i will have a bush that'll probably have to b tied down because im definately cloning it

i picked up 2 ''daylight'' bulbs for about $7.50 a piece to go with the sunshine and they got a lot more lumens then the sunshine so i should get good results. Im gonna buy another fixture and put one sunshine and one daylight in each and it is gonna work wonders :)

yea becuase i know that plays in for when the plants flower. or could i just go 24/0 str8 to 12/12 but it would probably take longer to flower. i was gonna keep on 18/6 for like a month then go to 12/12
