yea i saw that, i didnt know if that was just a lighting thing or actually turning purple. its probably due to the lower temps.

Yes this is the coolest I have kept it in here, I say in here because my grow closet is in my smoke, computer, drinking room. Im only allowed to smoke in here and its always a little cold :lol:

Its 66 in here and 71 in grow closet now. This is the warmest its gets in here. The lights fixen to go off and im going to watch T.V. in another room :lol:

Why would it try to trun purple if so. :?:

damn that looks really good man. those seeds came in a nifty package better then Fantaseeds' gram baggies

but i was reading a thread on a armageddon grow and he let his hydro temp drop really low and it turned the top of the plant solid purple, almost black looking really good shit check it out here http://www.overgrow.com/edge/showthread ... ost6009210 that looks so good i think i came a little. im growing the same strain in soil so in that last few weeks im guna feed it ice water in pure dark and see what it does cause around here that color raises prices like alot. i would be thankfull your plants changing color but it is kinda early in flowering and i think purple is a definciency but maybe your water is getting colder so its making it do that =/ i dont know just a thought

Shrapnel, thanks for the info. Im 99% shure its not a definciency, im doing just like I did on my other grows so the frets should be ok. Plus, i cant find a definciency that causes the plant to trun purple. But remember, Ive been wroung before.

Also I took a quick look @ that thread you put in your post. That makes me thank that the cold temps caused the purpleing. It might have even been to cold, maybe stuted(sp) them a little. Anyway I truned the cold down a little. Or in my case, closed the window a little more and opened the heater vent a little more :wink:

So the temps in the closet went from an averge of 68 to about 74. I did that about 3 days ago we will see what happens.

I will have my 400 watt hps next week, maybe sooner. They mailed it today

So next week she will have 650 watts instend of the 250 she has now. Dont know how much that will help, but she will have the exter light for about a month :wink:

I just went to UPS to see when my light would be here.

Your package is in the UPS system and is on time with a scheduled delivery date of Dec 2, 2005.

WARNING - if you feed your plant ice water you will damage/kill it. if you want purple bud turn the growroom temperature below 64 or less. the ice water will just fuck up your root system

yes i know its not good for the plant but i want purple buds and ive got a good feelin its guna work, thats what experimenting is for, well see.

ive seen at least 5 of my friends try ice water and all they ever got was delayed growth and flowering in the last few weeks when you need the plant preforming at max. air temps seem to be the determining factor for every of my grows. none of the 5 friends had purple weed in the end.

I got my light yesterday. I put it up last night. Temps did not go up :wink:

I just closed the heater vent and opened the window. Its not going to stay the way it is below, the big reflecter is my 250 watter the small win is my 400 watter. Im going to switch thm today.

sweet. but it kina looks like the light comming from that new bulb is blue. is that a MH bulb?
