Nutrients & Schedules

Postby sparkafire » Mon Jun 16, 2008 2:23 am

Hello everyone! I have been lurking around for a few days now and there is a lot of information to be gained by reading this forum. One thing that I have not seen or maybe just missed was a thread on Nutrients brands and types and the schedules people use with them from Seed,Cloning,Vegetative, flowering, and before harvest. I am sure there are as many formulas (even top secret ones) as there are gardens and I was wondering if people would be so kind as to give up some of their hard earned knowledge about this topic.I have my hydroponic grow room ready and I am just getting ready to start some seeds and would like to have a good knowledge of what kind of nutrients and the schedules I will want to use.

Thanks again for all your help.

if u havent done hydro before, id say go with General hydroponic's Floranova series ferts, grow and bloom. then use there Koolbloom later in flower. can use some florakleen to prevent rots and algae buildups.
dont fertilize till the plants are established . its best to grow clones in hydro than seeds.

Seeds VS Clones

Postby sparkafire » Mon Jun 16, 2008 6:12 pm

Thanks Jackel I plan on getting clones using the plants from seed and working from that direction. I would think its best as a beginner to just get a grow under my belt first before trying some exotic formulas a more seasoned grower might try. I am fascinated with growing the more hard to find herbs and then producing very high quality plants.

Thanks again

Nutritions artificial fertilizers are available, but i use the compost of the cow, ant the decayed house hold waste which is dried after mixed with few pesticides, so that the incests can be prevented,
