I only can afford ont thing and that's a ph test kit....do I neaccery to ever get th ppm

yes u will need to know the pH AND the ppm's for hydro growing. without these pieces of information u will be back here asking whats wrong with ur plants.

It's my first grow, I don't have a ppm meter I just swap the water once a week and top off as necessary. My plants are a few weeks into veg and beautiful. Just be careful.

I also go for the same way and i do not even measure the ph at all. Still my plants are growing beautifully.
new hydroponics equipment are the best
