Harvested and curing!!

Postby Treesasmedicine » Fri Nov 27, 2009 9:26 pm

Finally the day has come, and I have learned night and day what to do. I used no fertilizer, it is an indica sativa strain, and I am now planting somw AK 48. I think I know what I need to do to increase yeild as far as pruning, nutes, watering and light. I cant wait for thursday, so I can get high as hell on my own shit!!!

harvested and curing

Hey Everyone,

I just took my first cliping off my plant 7 days ago and finally took my lady for a test drive  I had been drying her carefully over the past week... She air dryed upside down for 72 hours so the buds could form that perfect teardrop shape. I hung the buds in the garage with plenty of air intake and exhaust. At that point the buds were ready to sweat in the mason jars with an air tight seal. The remaining water in the stems was sucked thru towards the buds in a last ditch effort to rehydrate her. The buds are nice, the top cola weighed in at 4 grams completely dried out. The humidty here is around 8 percent... I am in the dessert. My plant didn't yeild much , but she grew outside and she came to life late in the year!!! Her growth was stunted by the limited light of the shortened September days! The good news is the buds are sticky, covered with a ton of resin, and I am super baked!!

Make sure you are using top quality seeds from a reputable seed bank or some seeds from your own personal stash that got you good and baked when you smoked out. I read that genetics account for 90% of your herbs potency!!

i like small grows that people post about. you have some people where they brag a bout ounces. but when you only know so much and have access to such equipment a couple of grams are a godsend.

In most states around this great country of ours an outdoor grower must grow small low profile plants. Unfortunately the downside to small plants is the small yeild. That said, if your garden is truly for your own personal pleasures, it is not a problem if you have a low yeild provided you don't compromise on the quality. So long as the bud is tasty and full of resin like this friend of mine, I am a happy camper!! http://img25.imageshack.us/img25/1449/img0020re.jpg
