norcalbob wrote:I know it's pretty fricking insane! Big poundage is not that unusual in these parts. My friend had a plant last year where he got 7 lbs. of tops, plus all the little baby buds. I've heard of 15 foot plants. Never actually seen them. I like to try and fly under the radar. These guys are harvesting major amounts of weed. I don't have the time or space for what I have, little own 10 lbers. It's rained this last week ,I covered my plants well. My buds that are drying don't like the wetness outside. I found 3 with mold starting. I got rid of them fast. Have a great week dude! Back to work for acouple more.

7lbs is SICK! i think its a little ironic u hear the stories of 15 footers tho, and u dont see em  the very few grows ive seen done around my area probably maxed out at 2 lbs per, i could probably get 2.5 with prevegged plants but the climate just dont accommodate like yours does. seems like everyone is scared to grow anymore, there were NO busts this year so im assuming they didnt fly or people are just stayin under the radar themselves which is pretty smart. Glad all went well though, enjoy the work you earned it 8)

hopefully legalization happens soon, im so sick of prohibition, its completely unamerican. almost makes me ashamed to be one! just kiddin lol

the height of a plant doesnt mean shit other than it sticks out and says "look at me, look at me". the short bushes are where its at. 7lbs is a very impressive plant. 5lb is impressive even. good job.
off topic, i still dont want legalization, just decriminalization.

How could u not want legalization?? Pot should never have been made illegal in the first place. MJ prohibition was built on lies and alot of people are deceived because of it. Its flat out wrong. Im interested though, please lets hear your perspective on it

not to mention with these hard economical times we face, it only leaves open a multi-billion dollar industry for foreigners to take advantage of. If it were taxed and regulated they would simply have no market and the money would stay in the united states. Its just completely fucked up, I could sit here and go on and on for hours but i wanna hear your thoughts on why it shouldnt be legalized. Sure u might make a little less money that way but if u came from the same background as me u might have a different point of perspective. Everyone should have equal rights, and right now that simply isnt the case. Street deals are very fuckin shady unless u know who to trust, not everyone is as blessed as others. The economy in my area is extremely poor and it definately shows, not only in the product but in the people as well.

I have to agree with Chief on this one. MJ was a target from the beginning for the origional head of what is now the DEA. It is all based on racial discrimination and a shit load of lies. This country wouldn't have been created from the git go if it wasn't for MJ. Hemp was the #1 resource for a new country and it can be again as long as the politicians would get their head's out of each others asses and people would open up and see MJ for what it really is.
If the gov. would get their shit together and realize the #1 selling commodity isn't Coca-Cola but MJ and legalize it, sell it and tax it just as they do alcohol and cigarettes they might find that they could pull themselves out of a deficit or at least make one big fuckin' dent in it. And then the judges, lawyers, doctors, cops, military, and every other tom dick and harry came out of the smokers closet it would blow their mind. And they bitch about the job market, marijuana has literally hundred's of uses that if perused and allowed, it could actually create tens of thousands of jobs across the country and we wouldnt have to rely on some outside force such as the cartel or even countries that supply this country with all the shit we get from China and so forth. There is a solution to the state the country is in right now and it's not Wall Street, it happens to be in the baggie next to you or under the couch or coffee table. Marijuana is there from God for a reason. Fuck prohibition, this is America and there shouldn't be such a fucked up word in our vocabulary, but as we know, it isn't we the people, it's them the assholes that make our moral decisions for what we should do when in fact they're the ones that are fucking thing's up for every citizen of this country. They say don't fix it till it's broken. Well, the shit's pretty fucked up now and you cant fix it with duct tape and a paper clip. It's time for the McGyver government to step up and realize the people have spoken and has been getting louder and louder for several decades now and that were getting loud enough now that we may actually be heard, but not until people get off their asses and speak up. Don't roll over when big brother tells you to and don't believe 99.9% of what they tell you and the other 0.1% is bullshit to cover the 99.9% of lies. See I have this ironic thing that I do that doesn't make me a good American, it's called thinking. They don't want you to think, hell they dont even want to know your name. You only matter when your old enough to join the military so you can be sent off to get killed for some bullshit no one even knows what it's about except oil. Sorry, I have a tendancy to get carried away.... :?

Norcal, thats a great looking bud, congrats on the grow and awesome harvest. What strain is that bud thats holding the tv down and how long did it take from seed to harvest, and how long did you wait to flower. Again, congrats dude, enjoy it, you defiantly deserve it.

Thanks everyone for following my thread. This is my third grow. Two outdoors and one indoor. I've learned alot. I've learned I hate spider mites, bud rot, mold, rain in October, nosey nieghbors ,rip-offs, and trimming. Next year I'll have a better idea of what is going on. I think I had to many plants for one guy to work all day and then come home and spend every evening watering and feeding.I learned not to take spider mites lightly. They went from one plant to others. They didn't take over but they could of easy. The buds were so dense that when drying I will cut them down to nugget size to avoid mositure, bud rot,and mold.Lost a few but not bad. The rain in October was a bitch. Had to build frames and cover with plastic. It rained hard for two days.
Would have destroyed my plants if not covered. Had a grumpy old man who hated the smell. He thought it was only my other neighbor, he didn't know it was me growing also. I did feel bad about the smelly neighborhood. After I had harvested all the tops some guy jumped my fence and pulled a plant one night and ran. What a dumbass, If he had asked I would have just gave it to him. Now I have lots more trimming to do. Trimming sux. I'll talk to you all soon. Late.
Ya gotta hit it hard, it's still wet.
