I use to have a black Peavey bass that I played way back in high school. Now days I play my sons guitar every now and again..

I've been drumming for about two years now, jamming with some really talented musicians including a prodigal guitarist and an amazing fiddler. Lately I've been doing a few little live things at parties with some old school rockers who like to play the classics, Can't Always Get What You Want, Ghost Riders In the Sky, On Broadway, What Makes a Horse a Horse. When I'm playing with the two prodigies (guitarist and fiddler) we play lot's of metal, but we steer away from the whole blast beat insane death metal and more towards melodic/classical metal. I love playing everything, and I think that's the beauty of drums...no matter what style of music you're playing along to, it's always a joy to just play, no matter who or what you're accompanying.
Wouldn't it be cool if there could be a C420 jam?

I've got that same bass, but i bought it for 100$ froma friend and it wasn't well taken care of, i need to install all new guts i think they're pretty rancid looking. It sounds pretty nice though. i also have an aria stb dlx, my first bass and i love it. i have been playing for a couple years now but not too seriously, i don't think i'm to good because i always seam to lose interest in a song before i finish learning it lol.

I have been playing guitar now for 27 years and bass for nearly 20. Also play saxaphone and trumpet. If it wasn't for alot of pot and some good tunes to jam with..ie...pantera,tool,ccr,doors,dillon,lennon and so forth, I'd probably be just another...ah hell, who am I kidding, if it wasn't for pot, music would be lame. And it makes that bowl of cocoa crispies taste even better....gotta go....420

That's one thing about weed, when I smoke and bake out, I gotta hit the bass. Started off playing along with my dad, he plays guitar on an old gibson he's had since he was in jr. high, that was in the 60s. Started playing along with him with music such as ccr, paul revere and the raiders, the doors and so forth, now I prefer licks like tool, pantera, old metallica, the new shit sucks ass, and so forth. I had to leave a band I was in in Las Vegas before moving here. If your from vegas or been there to either the 9-eleven club or the green door or the underground youve probably heard us play, we were called indecentcy. I miss jamming and hope to find someone here can jam, but not going to hold my breath in this town, only population of about 2000. And I hate country, well most of it, johnny cash is the shit. but hank and all that other crap make my ears bleed and give me thoughts of chasing farm animals....
